This movie is a change of pace from my previous ones. My first was purely arena, while my second two were arena with a BG clip thrown in here and there. Hofflerand 4 kicks off with two arena clips from the end of Season Six (including the match that secured Gladiator), but the next fifteen to twenty-min are pure battlegrounds. My favorite scenes are the last two (AB & AV), so if you want to see those you'll have to watch until the end! :P
I think the quality of the BG clips is good. This isn't a big-crit movie. What you can expect:
-To actually see the use of Cleanse/Hand spells on fellow Alliance rather than Berserker/"1-2-3" play/five-digit crits
-Too much Lay on Hands, but please understand this: the clips in which I used LoH were, imo, already good enough without it. LoH simply extended the duration of clips I would have used anyway (well, perhaps not the one at Hangar, but definitely the other two).
-Scenes that span several minutes showing battles rather than me killing a couple Horde in twenty to thirty-sec and jumping to the next clip.
-I try to complete the BG objectives, especially towards the end of the movie. The last scene, Alterac Valley, is more of a story than great PvP, although I think there is some of that in it, too (the 1v4 bridge scene, lol).
Like my other movies, there isn't beautiful visual editing, but I put hours into the text commentary and I tried to choose a fairly unique set of songs. It's not the usual metal you hear in Ret movies, at any rate. The song list is at the end of the video, so please check that rather than asking me, "what song was that?"
I'm eager to hear what you think of this movie since it's very different than my other ones. If your criticism is pure flaming rather than constructive, it won't bother me and will just get removed by the admins, so you shouldn't waste your time trying to troll. I'll probably make Hoff 5 in a month or two which is likely to go back to the old format of arena with BG clips sprinkled in.
I personally like Hofflerand 4 a lot, but it's an experiment. I'd be more confident in Hoff 5 pleasing a wide audience.
